The last post was supposed to be posted last week but for some reason I had forgotten to put it up, it was just some stuff that was on my heart that I wanted to share. But there is actually a funny story behind my last post and what happened to me today.  Like most days in the morning we were working on Mario’s house and later most of us were expecting to head to Bethel. Although instead we decided to go to this community that we had been to before, which I don’t think I have mentioned. It’s a tiny little village way out in the middle of the sticks and in the middle of this village is a church made out of sticks. It can’t be any bigger then 15X20 feet, with only 6 small wooden benches painted crazy colours. Ill post some pictures of this church so you guys can get the idea, like it is literally something me and my bros could build on a lazy afternoon. So always be thankful that you have a nice church to come and gather to every Sunday. Anyways why today was so funny is because the church decided that they wanted someone out of our group to speak. And of course with my luck I was chosen to share something with the small group of 20+ Nicaraguans. Now I wasn’t that nervous, although all I thought was what the bananas am I going to share with this group of people. People that I have basically nothing in common with…….. and then I remembered the blog I was gunna post for you guys. So I pretty much just tried to remember word for word what I typed in that last blog. It did work alright and I guess I got the message across that I was trying to make. Except I don’t think you guys realize how hard it is to keep track of your thoughts when you’re getting interrupted by a translator every two seconds. All in all I guess you can say that it was an awesome learning experience and I do look forward to speaking again.

As for the rest of this last week, we had another incredible day at the beach. Well I guess I had two really good days at the beach because on Saturday I decided to go with Kory and Caroline for our day off. Then on Sunday our whole squad decided to go for a baptism we were invited to. As for Saturday, Kory, Caroline and I decided to go to this beach that is new to us, that is super touristy. The beach there was awesome, reminded me a lot of Mexico. And this time we decided to rent a surf board which was some of the most fun I’ve had in a while. I think that’s why it is a lot easy to be away from home. Because for 6 days of the week we are hardworking missionaries, but for one day out of the week we get to be tourists on vacation. I am so incredibly blessed to be able to experience that and so happy to share it with such amazing people. Any who,  then for Sunday we went to that same beach and took part in a baptism which was neat to see, especially because the 4 people were all baptized in the ocean. Looking forward to our next days off, hasn’t been that bad of a week but defiantly looking forward to some time off again.

I don’t have too much more to tell you guys but I would like to share the experience I had in Bethel yesterday. So I don’t know if you guys remember the Pastor that I told you about that had passed away. Well anyways this woman that Jeffery and I always go see was the wife of the Pastor (Victoria). But we have been going to her for id say the last 3 weeks and I have not known that entire time that she was the widow. Mainly because she has been in such good spirits, along with still being heavily involved with the church in Bethel. I just couldn’t believe that Victoria had been so concerned with how we were and focusing on pleasing us constantly, when she has been hit with such a tragedy. PS the reason Jeffery always drags me there is because Victoria always feeds us a bunch of goodies. And as you can tell Jeffery is a little chunky butt and loves his treats. I guess it gave me an amazing feeling, because I had realized that God can bless you with immense amounts of comfort in your life. Victoria is such an incredible woman of God and it is so uplifting to see that even through a sudden tragedy she still puts God and other people first, never herself. It really just gives me a smile every time I think about her and the strength she has. How can I ever be selfish enough to put myself first when I have seen and experienced Victoria’s joy and love for our Lord? I can’t it’s just that simple.

I would appreciate it if you guys keep sending prayers my way, I have been dealing with a lot of stuff this last couple of weeks and have been seeking freedom. Pray for God to continue to give me strength and courage, along with wisdom and purity of the heart to spread across these nations. Was amazing being able to talk to my family on thanksgiving weekend, hope all you guys had an awesome thanksgiving as well and I look forward to talking to everyone in the future.

Peace Out!!!

If there’s one important thing I learned in my decades as the Funeral Singer (yup, expecting an Adam Sandler sequel to Wedding Singer any time now; picture that!)and I learned many important things, it’s this: be ready to preach, pray, or sing at a moment’s notice 🙂 Probably good advice for you, friend. God has big, prosperous plans for you — when you seek Him with your whole heart, you’ll be found by Him. (Jer 29: 11ff)
